Hi everyone,

I have an 85 M6 with 82k. The compresion is getting low in the motor(145-160) the leakdown is getting high(15-42) and its having a tough time passing CA smog. Hopefully the pistons are still ok and I can get away with new rings and freshening the head.

Otherwise I'm looking for engine rebuild options. Some people have told me I should not do a stock rebuild because the euro compresion is too high for the low (91) octane fuel we have in CA. I called Dinan and they no longer do strocker motors. Who is good at rebuilding these motors? What are my options?

Thanks,

Juan Bruce
