I want good daily performance and don't plan on any track time. I like low end torque, not buzz saw 2 stroke powerband, my ripping CR250 days are over. I don't really want to mess with adjustable cam gears. So, with all that in mind, which cam gear (gears) and chip combination offers the best performance considering my criteria?

Also:

-Is it best to replace the intake and exhaust cam gears, or is the exhaust gear all I need?

-Does Conforti make a gear set that is optimally designed for his chip?

The BMW S-14 Evo III is the original exhaust cam gear. You should ge able to purchase one from you local BMW dealer. $100 or so.
