A little rough for about 2-3 minutes while she warms up and then once closed loop kicks in, I'm off and tearing. Haven't noticed much of a difference from summer to winter. I'm in northern CA, so my ambient temp never gets much below 40.

Quick survey - does anyone else's car drive poorly when stone cold (in other words, engine at ambient temp, not run for at least 4 hours)- do you experience any hesitation in the 2500-4000 rpm range, or surging, or backfire? As many of you know, mine has these issues but only when absolutely cold. Sheldon's also does it. Drove another M5 today that ALMOST did it.... just wondering if it is a widespread phenomenon in the S38...
