The S38 is self-bleeding on the E34. HOWEVER, there is a bleeder screw on one of the hoses near the firewall on the driver's side. It is not at all like the screw on thermostat housing you might be used to seeing on the M20 and M30, but rather just an inline element in the hose there.

This is based on my E34 experience.

Hello all. New to the board. Can someone tell me where I can find the remote + terminal in the engine bay? Also, where's the coolant system bleeder valve? Car's manual and Chilton's say both are next to each other on the right side of heater bulkhead, but I must be blind. Thanks.
