What we're all trying to say is that the density of a gas is INVERSLY proportional to the absolute temperature, hence an increase in temperature results in a decrease in density. COLD air is DENSER than hot air. Now, I shall appropriately chastise myself for attempting to correct Neil and mis-stating my facts.
