I live in California so I must consider the EPA. What is a good brand of paint? DuPont, Sherman Williams, BMW factory paint?

I realize that a paint job is only as good as the prep work. Opinions on primer would be nice too.

Thanks,
Ethan

Sikkens, who mfrs the original two-stage BMW paint for your car, also uses a one-step polyurethane paint that's better than the original.
Check out the website with pictures of my Cinnabar Red 535is,painted with this, after excellent prep work,in 1999. www.ontrackimages.com/gilbert best BMW period paint job I've seen in 10 years, and I used to sell used ones for a living.
