Raj:

The LAD/SLS rear has shorter springs on the E34 M5 that cannot be used with the non-LAD rear suspension cars.

You could eliminate LAD and go with 535i springs in the rear of the M5, but you could not use M5 LAD springs in your 535i.

Hi guys. I have a set of stock springs (not SLS) off my '85 535i for sale in good shape with high miles. I am almost positive that the e28 535i, 535is, and M5 shared the same springs. Please make an offer if anyone is interested. Thanks. BTW they're located near Santa Barbara, CA (93117).
