The car is still great and still needs a repaint and some minor bodywork but it is bulletproof and its only been driven 2k miles in the year and a half since i've had it. It doesnt like sitting for long periods of time. Sounds like you abused MY car Mark lol.

Mike,

Good advice from Neil. I've owned both (currently have M5.) I love the M5, but the 535is was one of the best cars I've ever owned. The great thing about the 535 was I didn't worry about parking it, garaging it, breaking it etc. I do all my own work so the parts $ differential is usually not that painful, but if you need to take the car to a shop for service it will be.
