Ted,

I bought an E28 M5 last October that is in excellent condition for $10,300 with 89K miles. There is another one in the Phoenix area being advertised @ $9800 now with 120K miles. I paid the $10,300 because that's what blue book was, but I noticed that it has gone down to $9K since. I've been told that people will not pay over Kelly blue book, but due to the rarity of the M5, I can't see this being true. Hope this helps.
