My transmission is barking its guts out and the clutch may be shot.(180,000km)My questions are:
1. Do I have to remove my swaybar, crossbar, and centre tie rod to allow the engine/gearbox to be lowered enough to get at the bellhousing bolts?
2. How do you get the shifter out of the "aluminum shift console"? I can't get the plastic shift lever bearing out. What's the trick? Can I leave the shifter in place and still get the tranny out?
3. How do you get to the top bellhousing bolts? From above or below?
Any and all info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
