In case you want to consider replacing it, you can get a new dash from Maximillian for about $500 shipped - www.partsforbmws.com. You can find complete instructions on how to do it at the link below. I would not recommend going through the process unless you get a new dash, you never know when a used one will crack.
Anyone ever used or seen one of those stick-on dash covers like the ones available from BMP or Bavarian? How was the fit and quality?
