Just a couple of suggestions.

Check the centre steering link, theyy can wear very quickly.

Check the discs are true and that the calipers are not seized on one side.

I had a similar problem and it prooved to be one piston seized!!!

What can cause violent shaking of front wheels when cornering? If I enter the corner very smoothly, the effect is lessend. It happens especially on rougher roads when entering tight corners, but is fine on smooth roads, or gradual corners even at higher speed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
