Neil,

In early 2000, I bought a set of Euro headers from the dealer. The list price at that time was about $950.00 EACH.

As soon as I got them I had them Jet-Hot coated.

Because neither of them has an expansion bellows as does one of the US headers, you have to buy some flanges and a slip fitting to properly install them. Also, for the same reason, they do not mate to the US exhaust system.

As for the quality, let me say this. My next door neighbor builds and restore hot rods (do you remember the Happy Days hot rod?) When he saw the Euro headers sitting on a shelf in my garage, he couldn't get over the quality and design of the intertwined tubes. In fact, he asked if he could take the rearmost one and show it to another car builder friend of his.

To date, I have not installed them as I wait for my US exhaust to expire when I may then install a full Euro exhaust (Euro exhaust sells for about the money as US exhaust.)

Douglas
