Main and fuel relay location? (archive)

I have an occational cutting out of the engine. I am Thinking that it could be a relay. I had a simmular problem with my 325 and it turn out to be the main relay, but on the M5 it is not where it is shown in the e28 Bently manual. If it proves not to be a relay I move on to the fuel pump.
