Don't kill yourself. If you're checking for fuel right out of the fuel filter, have someone jumper the fuel pump relay in the glove box. Do not connect/disconnect 12V at the fuel pump itself. The sparks can set off fuel vapors and then you're literally toast.

Those relays are supposed to click when energized. The fuel pump does not run until the Motronic computer senses the engine is turning. If you remove the FP relay, use a 16 gauge wire with a 10A fuse to jump connectors 87 and 30. If the fuel pumps run, you should get fuel. No fuel? Check the 12mm low pressure line that comes out of the transfer pump and goes to the main pump. If it's crushed between the fuel tank and the body (under the trunk) that could be the source of your problem.
