PETE
There is a special "paint" made specifically for calipers. It's made by Folitec. It's kind of expensive...about $42 for a kit...but it's really good stuff.I did my calipers 2 years ago and so far,so good. What's nice about the stuff is that it has a very glossy,non-porrus finish so the brake dust doesn't really stick to it.The only place I was able to find Foliatec was Strictly Foreign...http://www.estrictlyforeign.com/...(no affiliation).I agree with removing the calipers. You REALLY have to get them clean if you want any paint to work properly.Good luck!Just put on 17" wheels (radial spoke) - which look great, but which provide a nice view of some pretty ratty looking brake calipers. Anyone have a recommendation for caliper paint? Would prefer not to have to remove the calipers to paint (if possible). Thanks. Pete
