That, sir, is your water valve. BMW P/N 64-11-1-373-191. I had the exact same problem and a BMW mechanic told me the water valve was bad. I replaced my valve and now I get hot air all the time. :-)


once the car is warmed up the heater blows hot air fine until the car is reved over 2000rpm are so then the air drops to outside tempatures when it returns to idle it returns to blowing hot again. I have changed the air sensor with no change in results any suggestions?
