What you describe is a fairly common symptom, usually associated with the accumulators losing nitrogen charge.

Also, how did you start the hydro pump manually?


Help! I'm attempting to trouble shoot my self leveling rear suspension. The pump will lift the car to the appropriate level, only to fall once again after a period of time. There are no signs of leakage as the reservoir appears to refill itself. The pump will only start again after being started manually. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
