I recently looked up the private-party value for an `88 M5 in zip code 95008 with 100,000 miles, and it valued it at about $6,000. We all know in reality the price would be double that. There is an option on the page for feedback, so I wrote em an email saying what the "real" value of these cars is, not to mention how few were made and now even fewer on the road 14 years later. They actually responded with an email asking what price I either bought or sold one for. Perhaps if enough of us set them straight with this kind of feedback, the blue book value may rise on them.
