Lee:

1. If the slave has failed you will have fluid leaking out of the system. Check for a drop in level in the reservoir.

2. If the master has failed, you can either have fluid leaking onto your foot (check for falling level in reservoir) or you can have the master 'short circuit' and not build pressure (remove slave and carefully see if it extends under master pressure or something like that?) Not sure.

3. If the clutch disk has failed it should not be instant. Ask the PO if it was gradual. The dealer has a tool to measure disc wear.

Hey guys got a new 535 and thought the clutch is gone. Apparently it's more likely to be the master cylinder or slave. How do i go about finding out what it is???
