Every time I take one of the BMWs out, either the 850 or the M5, I'm dodging road items. I've been hit by hubcaps taken airborn from the bed of pickup trucks, exploding bottles thrown from overpasses, you name it. Even worse... had some sprinkler water sit on the car for about an hour in direct sunlight... still trying to get the water spots out. I hear your pain.

My car has been in storage for a year. I recently moved it into my new house. I spend a weekend cleaning, changing oil, blah blah blah expecting to drive it to work monday morning
for the first time in a year. The commute started great. The weather is cool as the sun is starting to peek over the rolling hills, the stereo bumpin' as I'm cruising along at 70. The car in front of me kicks a piece of plywood in the air as I smash right into it. I didn't think nothing happened until I got to work and had a look. Looks like I need a new turn signal lens and a rim repaired. That's monday. I drive it again today which is friday being extra careful. No problems on the way to work but some "a" hole at work swipes the side of it leaving a very noticable large ding. What are the odds of this happening?? I've driven my 91' honda civic everyday for a whole year and no mishaps. I've driven my M5 two days and two mishaps. I need a beer.
Have a good weekend.
