I always double clutch my downshifts (for fun & to save tranny wear), but never double-clutch an upshift. Is this really helpful in any way? It makes sense with a downshift since you are speeding up the input shaft, but you don't need to do that on an upshift. I also don't recall ever seeing race car drives double-clutch an upshift.
