Thanks James, good info. I was wondering if replacing the seals will eliminate the clunking noise I have when I turn the wheel from side to side. Sounds like a hard-part is worn and not just a seal. Then again, I have no idea how a re-circulating ball steering box works so for all I know it might solve the problem.

Has anyone done the seal replacement before ?
