For Sale 17 inch Mille Miglia 11-2 Yokahoma tires (archive)

Purchased a set of 17x8.5 Mille Miglia 11-2 rims used from a gentleman in Greenville SC. He had used them maybe 5 times over the last 2 years for driving school in his 1995 e34 540i. He had a set of junk BF Goodrich racing tires on them, but also had a set of new Yokahama AVS AVI-45i 235-45-ZR 17 tires that he had not mounted yet, so I bought the set for $900.00.
The offset is 13mm. I mounted and balanced them and bolted them onto my stock 1987 e28 535is. I noticed,first off, that the fiitment at the front was perfect, no strut tower or fender rub. At the back I had a minor rub from the driver's side rear fender, with the stock suspension, that vanished with a mimor fender roll. The look is very agressive and the handling is incredible
The reason for sale is I found a set of M5 Throwing Stars that I'm having refinished and I have the MM-11's sitting in my Dining Room!
The tires have less than a thousand street driven miles on them, and the rims are about perfect. No curb rash or flaws. The only down side was I did not get the center caps when I bought them. I was told the are, or might be available at the Tire Rack.
I was looking for $800.00 obo for the set, mounted, balanced, and waxed.
