I had been wanting a decent car for awhile (read drove a 1977 Celica with 200k on it, and lots of rust, through college). I have a son and therefore wanted four doors but also wanted something fun to drive. Does an M5 ever fit the bill. It is a little costly to maintain but then what in this world that feels this good isn't a little costly? Mine had 165k on it when I bought it. I drive it every day (now has almost 190k). I smile every day and it is absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt not for sale. Of course you should be prepared to take the long way home (twisties are better).
