Zuke:

You can try a few things to make it work:

1. Open and clean wiper and carbon resistor via swiping rough paper under it.
2. Tighten wiper by bending it to push it against the carbon harder.
3. Move carbon resistor so that an unused part of the arc contacts the wiper.
4. Check resistance with barn-door movement for smooth increase in resistance.

You should be able to make it work just fine. These things don't fail too often.

Is it possible to rebuild/adjust to factory spec. or should have a pro do it? Anyone know the specs or a rebuilder or company that would sell a Flow Meter. The previous owner opened the box and resealed with sylicon. The car runs too rich at low rpms. Its not smooth until it gets over 3 grand.??? Thanks
