Placement of M badge on trunk? (archive)

I need to know how far in from the right side, being specific like from the trunk lid or from the farthest right edge, that the M badge is to be placed on the trunk lid. I was told from the dealer the the center line should match up with the BMW roundel. Thanks! Rob in NC with an M5 smoker soon!
(M535i converison with a 745 turbo kit, hopefully!)
