In Reply to: How do I install the ETK? I use windows 98!! posted by I Banker - 1991 535i 5 Speed on April 10, 2002 at 21:15:26:

Insert CD in drive and go to MY COMPUTER on your desktop. Double click (DC) on the drive that contains the ETK CD. DC on WIN95 folder. DC on BMW folder. DC on ETK folder. DC on SETUP folder. Chose your language, click YES. Click YES again to put icon on desktop. This completes installation of SYSADM.

DC on SYSADM icon. Click on EPC and then down to INSTALL. Click OK, click on TOTAL CATALOG, click on Language, click YES for icon on desktop.

To start DC on the ETK icon on desktop.

Be aware that the ETK installation (after SYSADM) takes up some 525KB of space. Be sure you have enough.
