Ditto on the B&B - my car had one when I bought it, sold it and went to OEM as fast as I could. Was costing me too much $$$ in broken windows....

Maximillian has a kit with Bistein Hds, Euro M5 rear springs and M-teknik front springs, which I have. Very nice, not too radical, reasonable price.

Howdy Y'all,
IF anyone has been following EBAY lately, I'm sure you have come across the E28 M5 with a 365hp Dinan Stage 3 Stroker kit. Well, long story short...I bought it today, and it is sitting in my garage now. I am one happy SOB! If anyone saw Spaceballs the movie...This thing has "Ludicrous Speed!" I look forward to joining this forum to get advise and share stories. My Dad has a 1988 M6, and my best friend has 2 1993 E34 M5's (TWO!!!!!!! not One but TWO!!!!!!! What an asshole).

Mechanically the car is perfect. It has ~20K miles on the engine. Oddly enough, the car has a bone stock suspension. I am comtemplating what to upgrade to. I am thinking about HR springs with Bilstien sports. Dinan's suspension system is WAY overpriced $1950 for the stage 2 with Self level eliminate. BMP has HR/Bilstein package for $800 shipped. Koni's in the front is an option I have heard of too. Any Suggestions?

The wheels are need of refinishing, and the car needs new tires. I am thinking of going to 17" rims, but not too sure about which wheel (BBS RX/RK look nice and are not too expensive). If I keep the stockers and refinish them, I will get AVS intermediates. TireRack still has them in 225/ZR50/16 for $81 a pop!

Here is a bit of advice I can offer anyone that has considered the BB Triflo exhaust...Don't waste your money on it. My dad bought one for his M6. IT looks awesome, but is way too loud. It killed the refinement of the car. Now his car sounds like a Mustang.

Thanks,
RastaNurse
