They lower it some in the front- not very much tho, not sure the actual amount, my guess is about 1/2". Paul at Maximillian could tell you. The rears are OEM used on Euro M5 since SLS was only an option. The Hds have three height settings - when I bought my car they were set at the lowest, which was actually quite low - I put them on the highest and it gave the car proper (3/4") rake. On lowest setting car was level and looked too slammed for me. THe ride is nice and firm, but not tooth-rattling. It's probably about a 6-7. We have some roads with big holes and even there it is not unbearable. I like it because I can go full speed over the speed bumps (the wide shallow kind that cause softer-sprung cars to dive) in my neighborhood without scraping the air dam.


then i guess you'd have to use Bilstein Sports right? HD's cannot be used if lower springs used, correct? (still learning) How's the ride stiffness on 1 - 10 scale w/ the setup you have?
