I'd be interested to know how your new clutch feels compared to, say, a Honda or, alternatively, an E30 BMW.

If you're doing the front of engine stuff, get the sprockets as well when you get the chain and guides. There are other obvious things like crank seal, cam seal, etc., and you may want to get the Fahey crank hub.

What sort of compression numbers did you get? Also, what is the oil consumption?

Just bought this E28 M5- (Nice,nice car)
269,000 miles!!!!
Black/Tan leather
power heated M seats (NICE too)
Glass moon roof
M painted pin stripes
load leveler works great
New clutch/pp/t. bearing,slave,fork,etc..
all BMW service records
Runs great-I'm having the timing chain and tensioners done this week- anyone have any other suggestions on this car??
