As long as you're in there, you should probably at least consider the Fahey hub. I've heard this is almost mandatory, and I've heard that the hub was only a problem on earlier models, and by the '88 run it's not an issue. But at an additional $350 vs eliminating the change of thousands in damage, it should be considered.Niel's advice on parts is mandatory.
How's the oil pressure? How's the compression?
Gee that's a lot of miles. Hope mine is still going strong at that age (156k now). Hope I get to garage it and baby it before 200k, instead of daily-driver as it is now.
