The car runs great...has 160lbs in each cyl. and I just replaced #5 injector (had a slight miss) not sure about the oil pressure-the motor sounds tight with the excpetion of the chain "slapping" around 3000rpms-so, whats this Hub? where is it and what does it do?? This is my first M car- I have had MANY E30's and E28's but, never an M...any help would be helpful.
Thanx alot
Chris~

As long as you're in there, you should probably at least consider the Fahey hub. I've heard this is almost mandatory, and I've heard that the hub was only a problem on earlier models, and by the '88 run it's not an issue. But at an additional $350 vs eliminating the change of thousands in damage, it should be considered.

Niel's advice on parts is mandatory.

How's the oil pressure? How's the compression?

Gee that's a lot of miles. Hope mine is still going strong at that age (156k now). Hope I get to garage it and baby it before 200k, instead of daily-driver as it is now.

Nice acquisition. Congrats.
