The clutch fells sorta shitty- feels like there is "one spot" to release at (hard to slip)...sorta higher than my E30's have been (wish there was adjustment...) I'm going to post a picture of the car here in a min...I may want to sell it/trade?? Just love my E30's too much! Car leaks more than it uses- (oil pan gasket has a small leak)- But, compression is 160+ in eash hole...whats this "Fahey Hub" about?? where is it,what does it do???
take a look at the pics...and let me know what you think? (keep in mind the 269,000 miles!!)
Thanx
Chris~
Chris:
I'd be interested to know how your new clutch feels compared to, say, a Honda or, alternatively, an E30 BMW.
If you're doing the front of engine stuff, get the sprockets as well when you get the chain and guides. There are other obvious things like crank seal, cam seal, etc., and you may want to get the Fahey crank hub.
What sort of compression numbers did you get? Also, what is the oil consumption?
