I have slotted and regular M5 brakes. I autocross the car with OEM rotors with no problems. For regular day to day with a mix of spirited driving I say the slotted ones are wasted. All they offer is brake noise. The OEM equiped one was outfitted by the PO with all the 750 suspension and brake upgrades. After only 10K it shook like hell. I redid everything with all original M5 parts. It works great.

Your car may be different since you have a lot more HP to deal with. You may benefit from a custom setup like the one UUC Motorwerks offers. The only drawbacks are price and the need of 17" wheels.

IMO if you do not plan on taking the car to the track (autocrossing should be ok), originals offer enough. These are fast high perf cars to begin with. With the amount of HP yor car makes I would do the upgrade if I was using it for track days otherwise I do OEM and see how that works. I included a link below from the M-register newsletter.

as usual feel free to correct or add to any of my statements.
