The one on my E30 (same) beeps when the temperature reaches 4 deg C. The speed thing also beeps, but I have no beep related to time.

Computer onboar on 88M5 suppose to "beep" every hour on the hour and also suppose to "beep" when you reach the speed you set it in . Maybe need a new speaker or any battery needs to be changed?.Need advise on how to troubleshoot this delema.
