Thanks for all the info on Tramlining, I wish I had learned of this earlier. The Dunlop SP 8000 have three HUGE circumfrence groove about 3/4 of an inch wide ! I have no doubt in my mind that this is causing part of the problem.

I also have worn trailing arm bushings. I noticed when I was getting a smog check, when the tech backed up the car on to the dyno, the rear tire moved fore and aft about inch. On a road with bi g groove it a very wild ride. Feels like the car is shaking it's ass around. Hope this isn't difficult to do, drop the trailing arms and pull the bushings that is.

If anyone has done this please reply. I do have access to a hydraulic press and air tool..., will I need any other special tool ??
