My interior light delay (light stays on for 8 secs after shutting door) has never worked. I suspected the relay unit which is on firewall above driver's feet afaik. But Brad Courvillion told me that he replaced his module and it didn't help. His ETM indicated that the door handle switch might be the culprit. So I removed the inner driver's door panel, and sure enought there is a 1" square black plastic switch in there. A little arm attached to the door handle is supposed to press on and ground a little brass tab on the side of the switch, which activates the timer. My tab was GREEN, and looked like it didn't really make contact anymore anyway. So I removed the switch (1 10mm nut), and sanded the tab clean and bent it back out. Also sanded the arm on the door handle a little. Put it back in and voila, worked perfectly. FYI, the switch unit appears to be potted, so it wouldn't be repairable if faulty. Brad says maximillian has them for around $30. Thanks to Brad, always nice to fix something on these cars for $0.
