My car does the same thing, the owners manual refers to a clutch cut off. I have been meaning to check it out, can anyone confirm that their M5 has one working? Maybe it was never there.

If i have cruise control engaged, and i depress the clutch, the car redlines itself (lightweight flywheel) unless I catch it first.

I..e if im on the interstate in 5th gear, with CC set at > 80, if i clutch in its at the redline in almost no time at all. If im putting along at 40 in 4th gear i can usually catch it.

So, my question is, it seems like there is no interlock switch for disabling CC on the clutch pedal. Is this correct ?
