Unfortunately, mine has stopped working, only works occasionally. I am now convinced, after extensive discussions with Brad who also did his switch this weekend, that my relay is bad/sticky (he replaced his first and it still didn't work because his switch was out of wack). I think this failure is probably often a two part issue - the switch fails first, then the relay siezes up from disuse. Just a guess. I plan on yanking my relay and opening it up, maybe tonight. There is a long thread about this with some great pics of the switch taken by Brad on the E28 board. You'll have to page down a ways.
Todd, whats the proper diagnosis procedure to determine if the switch is bad or the relay is bad ?
I get no delay lights ever, and pulling the handle also does nothing for me. But, im not quite sure what the test procedures for the system are.
I already had a long list of nagging issues on this car. Now i can add more that i didn't even know were nagging issues :)
