Hey Armando, sorry to hear you had a streesful trip. There's nothing worse then having something like this happen on a long awaited trip. If your like me, I get so stressed thinking about what the problem could be that I fail to have a good time.

One thing you might want to check is the radiator. I had this same thing happen with my 528e. The mechanic I took it to said a great way to see if your radiator is working is to bring the car up to temp, shut it off, and then place your hand on the inside of the radiator and feel for a cool spot or one that is less-warm then others. He said that the channels inside get clogged easily. You may have to remove the fan shroud, the 528e didn't have one.

To date I have not had this problem with my M5.
