I've ever posted until today, I bet you might find one swear word Alan, and it was probably spelled s h I t e or something. Once again, you missed my point... free speech. That's all I'm talking about. Your analogy brings up a point... it's your site. And I agree... It's your site.

So, since the other boards are so brilliant why do you bother replying to a lowly unscrupulous e28 5er like myself? That's what you keep repeating to me anyway.

...our server and bandwidth bills, you would realize that not all speech is "free". If you walk into a bar and start yelling obscenities, the bouncer will probably escort you to the door. I'm not trying to make any big changes here--just asking people to behave in a reasonable manner.

The E36 Lounge and X5 Lounge contain people that like to goof around more than just about anyone here. Take a look at them and you'll see that we're not trying to censor too much or keep people from having fun.

As for selling items to people you know--that is great--simply put those items in the classifieds and the people who read the board regularly will get a single daily update about those items for sale including any others that anyone else has posted for sale--it isn't that big of a deal, and we are just asking people to do it to cut down on the amount of administrative headache there is running the boards.

Just keep using the board like you always have--if you really feel the need to curse, just be creative with your spelling. :-)
