I have done it & the header that goes with that varable intake is alot of the problem. If you run a euro 3.5 header it would probley fit in correctly but may affect some of your hp's,with the intake.as far as the hook ups & wiring. The harness is fits but does require some mods to deal with the diagnosis connector. It of corse will require not only the 3.6 dme but also the intake control module assy. With lighten flywheel, chip upgrade, ram air, monsterflow air filter, dyno showed 287 at rear wheels. My car only weights 2732 lbs too.

I personally haven't done it , but I seem to recall that it's not that hard. Most of the wiring matches up, you will need the correct DME- it bolts right up and plugs in, exhast will need to be matched or better yet opened up, e34 headers are different as well. As far as fitment- it's an S38 block. That's all I know.

Good luck!

Ethan

Has anyone done this? I am interested in any info. about this swap, problems, retrofits or interfacing wiring/DME.
Any imput would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John
