Here is my 2 cents:

Chip- can't go wrong with Dinan or Conforti. The chip is the single most impressive mod you can make for this engine. You will feel it instantly.

Cam gear- supposedly gives a "huge" boost in midrange torque at the expense of only 2 hp. I put one in my Dad's M6 and was very dissappointed. I liked the way the car pulled hard all the way to redline with the chip only. With the cam gear, the car didn't pull as hard after 5000rpm. Could be just this application, but I know alot of other people who think the camgear is not worth the time and money.

Exhaust- BB Triflo looks great but is WAY TOO LOUD. It ruins the refinement of the car. I would stick with the stock unit, because it is very quite and freeflowing. My car has 365hp and I have no plans on changing the exhaust. If you absolutely have to change it...the Rob Levinson "Ultimate M5" exhaust looks nice. http://www.shortshifter.com/m5exhaust/

Suspension- I am actually going to install my HR springs and Bilstein sports tomorrow. This set up is very popular. I'm a big fan of HR. I'll update you on the progress. As for swaybars, I'm going to leave the stock one in place for now.

Brakes- the stock set up is great. I do my daily 140-150mph blasts, and never have a problem slowing down in a hurry.

Intake- leave it stock.

Wheels- if your OEM BBS are in good shape keep them, and get new tires. I think the best tire is the Bridgestone S03, but it also cost $170 a pop. Tirerack still has the old Yokohama AVS intermediates for only $81 a pop. These are the stickiest tires for the money. They don't last verylong, but man they are like gumballs. And at $81 a pop, you can buy 2 sets for the price of an S03. If you are looking for 17" wheels, my favorite is the E34 M5 wheel. Tons of them are for sale on this board and Ebay.

Shortshifter- get one, makes driving even more fun. UUC or Metric Mechanic.

Hope this helps. I have included a link to my car.
