Randy,

I would check the bracket inside the cabin that holds the master and make sure is not cracked. If the bracket is cracked, you probably need to replace the master again and weld the bracket in place.

The clutches on these cars are very durable, and 100k is not excessive mileage, specially if not abused.

Hello! I think my clutch is gone! It has been really hard to shift lately. I replaced the slave and master cylinders a year ago and solved my hard shifting problem when cold. This clutch probably has about 100,000 miles on it but the car is not abused. The clutch doesn't slip and there is no strange noises that signal a tired clutch or throw out bearing. Bentley manual suggest binding. Can someone clarify my problem. I'm just not ready to crawl under the car to do this ardous task! I know there are no adjustments in this system but I may be overlooking something. Thanks
