bracket is ok, thanks for input (archive)

Thanks for the bracket suggestion guys. Mine infact did crack about 3 year ago but, it was my own stupidity that did it. I installed the master and didn't tighten one of the two bolts! After my initial push on the pedal, snap! I ended up paying for a new whole pedal bracket assembly. My mechanic claimed he could get to the crack with his welder. Oh, well a lesson learned. So, any other ideas of what is causing my problem?
