Sir/Madam:

I'm sure you know this, but just in case. I think the length of each header pipe (equal) is more important than the precise routing of the plumbing.

Please help. Send money if it makes you feel better. My 1985 M635 (M88/3) still has the EPA mandated/butchered exhaust which was on the car when I bought it 11 years ago. I am finally going to replace this mess with something more in keeping with the potential performance of the car. At present it is euro stock from the euro centre resonator to the rear euro muffler. A cat was spliced into the area forward of this point and welded to the euro headers, the lower bend and flange was hacked off the headers to accomplish this. as part of the exhaust system redesign process, I intend to rebuild these euro headers close to their original configuration and would appreciate some dimensions/measurements from anyone who has them available or could take some measurements for me. If you have some surplus or rusted-out headers available, that would be even better to use as a template, let me know your most reasonable price.
TIA
