Here's the scoop (a tad long)... (archive)

Well, I became rather frustrated yesterday. Why? 'Cause over the last 2 months of trying to sell my beloved car, I've been contacted by so many 'strokers' and flakes (and no, I am NOT referring to any of kind souls who frequent this board or the E28 board) each telling me "man, I have to have your car...don't sell it...I'll call you tomorrow" only to never hear from them again. What's the point? Two months of this crap!

The ONE...yes, ONE...person I've had actually make it out to drive my car this week (and loved it, I might add) was supposed to call me yesterday afternoon and tell me whether or not he's going to buy it. Didn't get the call, so I got pissed and pulled my ad, and opted to keep my baby. Finally got a call late last night saying he THINKS he's going to buy it on Fri (subsequent to his friend's inspection--no worries there). So, after finally deciding I want to keep her, I am now faced with the decision of what I should do. The underlying problem is, I really don't want to sell it.

Anyway, I'll keep y'all posted on the 'saga' that is my life. Thanks for the bandwidth! :)

Tim G. in NJ !it looks like you sold her .. Did you or has the ad just expired? i was just about to call you after i saw the price dropped looks like i missed it .... Congrats if its sold . let me know of its not .Chris
