My wife's M5 still has the SLS. It has served us well. I recently replaced the hoses to the accumulators, both of the accumulators, and refilled the Pentosin 7.5 (1 1/2 liters) when the left hose broke, spilling out almost all of the fluid. Total cost was $493.12. After 196,000 mi., it still handles like new. One of the accumulators appears to have been bad also. The car is a daily driver for her and never has been on a track. It had 50,000 mi. on it when we got it in 1992. Frequent oil changes have kept it SMOG legal, so far ;^) .
