If the check light stays on after you press your brake pedal, one of your bulbs has burned out. I bet it's your center-mounted light.

If the dash brake symbol is lit, your pads are worn or one of the sensor wires has a break in it.

Bill

My brake check light used to come on quite often, especially after driving for a short time. I found out it was a corosion problem to to a faulty trunk gasket. Don't forget to check for corrosion on the bulb housing when you check the bulb.
cheers,
Jamie
